Are you a performer, writer, photographer, artist, designer, a director or musician?

Do you work in the arts, the media, publishing, fashion, TV, or film?

Are you working on your next big project or opportunity, but you’re totally stuck? You have no clue about what direction to go in?

Maybe you’re in a place where you need to rebalance your energies and resolve some emotional blocks that are keeping you stuck?

Or maybe you’re looking to take your work or your business to the next level and you’re not sure what steps to take to make sure it all works out.

What you need is a coach. But what does a coach working in the creativity space actually do?

The first thing is to laser in on what thoughts and beliefs are shaping your behaviour, including your decision making process. These beliefs can be conditioned by many factors and are indicators of how you’re sabotaging your success or ability to move to the next level. That could be in your personal life, in your career or in your creative work. Get a breakthrough on this level, and everything is already shifting and changing for the better.

Everyone has saboteurs. There’s no getting away from them, but it is possible to manage them and limit their destructive activity. These saboteurs are what are preventing or stifling your ability to resolve whatever issues you’re facing, whether that’s to do with developing or expanding your next creative project or moving ahead in your career.

Your saboteurs like to present themselves as your best buddies. The reality is however, that they are wrecking your life in ways you can’t even begin to imagine. If you ever get filled with self-doubt or driven to always aim for an impossible level of perfection or feel the need to be constantly validated by others, this is the work of your saboteurs. Perhaps you feel that whatever you do or try to achieve, you will always be second best to others. Perhaps you feel like you’re a failure and don’t deserve success. Again, your saboteurs are at work. And none of it’s true.

By lasering in on your saboteurs and giving you the tools to undermine their hold on you, you will discover where your beliefs, behaviour and emotions are consistently destroying your chances of success. By unlocking the unconscious and sometimes conscious patterns that are working against you, you can move forward into a radical new perspective on what you are able to create and achieve in your life.

Just discovering that you even have these saboteurs is a massive revelation for many. By challenging them, limiting their impact and freeing you to change the beliefs you hold about yourself that have been holding you back, possibly for your whole life, you can step into action in powerful alignment with your inspirations and passions. You can let go of the past and focus on the future that you want to manifest. You can transcend the limitations of your current thinking and see possibilities in your work that had previously been inaccessible to you.

A good coach is going to help you connect to your true nature. This is deep work. This work can even take you beyond the place where the concept of self exists. When you can experience this and embed this new mindset, your creative self, now naturally in a state of flow, brings into being a new experience and relationship to the process of creativity. A good coach can take you to places that you didn’t even know were possible to reach. Coaching can help you transform your work in ways you hadn’t thought were possible.

All of us are creative.

We’re all creative in our own ways. Some of us are great cooks, whilst others are fantastic painters, architects, sculptors, writers, or visual storytellers. Some are fantastic musicians or singers, whilst others are amazing at building a new business from scratch. If you’re not sure what your particular creative outlet is, coaching can help you to discover it. You DO have one. No one is denied the gift of creativity, but some discover their gift faster than others.

If you’re not sure what your creative niche is, it could be because on a subconscious level you’re afraid to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, or maybe the stresses of life are blocking you.

It’s important to work with someone that knows your world; that knows the creative process inside out.

I’ve worked in the visual arts for many years. I’ve worked on projects for the painter Joe Tilson, the sculptor Nick Pope and for a multitude of others through my work as a printmaker at one of the world’s leading artist-print studios: 107 Workshop in Westbury in the UK. I’ve worked on hand-made limited edition books of the poetry of Paul Eluard, printed the intaglio work of Graham Sutherland and done voiceovers for documentaries in Egypt.

I’m currently working on a set of drawings and paintings for a new exhibition of my own based on spiritual symbolism.

I’m an author of two books, the founding editor of a journal called Focus in the energy healing space, and I’ve worked as a freelance journalist in the UK and across North Africa.

As a trainer and coach, I have worked with some of the leading actors, filmmakers and singers across the Middle East, alongside visual artists, writers, designers, architects, photographers and storytellers and in the international arts education sector. I’ve worked with seasoned business leaders and new entrepreneurs.

Your space is my space. I want to help you get to where you want to be creatively. Let's create that mindset shift together. The consequences of this will be an improved quality of life and a massive boost to your wellbeing as well as happiness and contentment with your creative endeavours. I can help you get there.

If you would like to know more about what I can do for you as a creative individual or business, then send me a message and let’s set up a no-obligations call.
