Scientific studies have shown that mindfulness techniques can be as effective in dealing with pain as some of the strongest pain-killers available and enhances the body’s own healing mechanisms. It can also help to reduce anxiety, irritability, exhaustion and insomnia, all conditions that can arise due to living with chronic pain.
